Disclosed is a liquid composition comprising an isolated human anti-TNF&alpha antibody, or an antigen-binding portion thereof, wherein the composition has no detectable cathepsin L activity as determined by a cathepsin L kinetic assay wherein the anti-TNF&alpha antibody or antigen-binding portion comprises: 1. A light chain variable region comprising: - a light chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence of QRYNRAPYX or an amino acid sequence differing from QRYNRAPYX by a single alanine substitution at position 1, 4, 5, 7 or 8 - a light chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence of AASTLQS and - a light chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence of RASQGIRNYLA and 2. A heavy chain variable region comprising: - a heavy chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence of VSYLSTASSLDX or an amino acid sequence differing from VSYLSTASSLDX by a single alanine substitution at position 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 or 11 - a heavy chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence of AITWNSGHIDYADSVEG and - a heavy chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence of DYAMH.
