It is an issue in some vineyards that it can 5 be difficult to attach the arms to the posts in a way which provides sufficient strength to the arms. Also, in cases where the wires attach directly to the arms it can be difficult to remove the wires to enable the vines to be pruned. It is an aim of a preferred embodiment of the invention to go at least some way towards addressing these problems by providing a trellis component. The trellis component has a connector, a 10 tubular post, at least two support arms, and a crop line. The trellis component is arranged such that the connector is within an upper end of the tubular portion, the arms are within and extend outwardly from the connector, and the crop line is supported by the arms in an elevated disposition to in turn support a crop.Figure 1 1 8 3 88 4 10 10 2
