The present invention relates to a method for reducing or removing amygdalin in a raw material by pulverizing a raw material containing a cyanide compound, more specifically amygdalin, and irradiating it with radiation, and a raw material produced thereby. The method of reducing or removing the cyanide compound according to the present invention is not only simple and eco-friendly, but also can remove 95% or more of the cyanide compound present in the raw material. In addition, the raw material thus produced is low in the content of the residual cyanide compound and is harmless to the human body, so that it can be usefully used in the field of general food, medicine, and cosmetics.본 발명은 시안화합물, 보다 구체적으로 아미그달린(amygdalin)을 함유하고 있는 원료를 분쇄하고, 방사선을 조사하여 원료 내의 아미그달린(amygdalin)을 저감 또는 제거하는 방법 및 이에 의해 제조되는 원료에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 시안화합물의 저감 또는 제거방법은 공정이 간단하고, 친환경적일 뿐만 아니라, 원료 내에 존재하는 시안화합물을 95% 이상 제거할 수 있다. 또한, 이렇게 제조되는 원료는 잔류 시안화합물의 함량이 현저히 낮아 인체에 무해하므로 일반 식품 분야, 의약 분야, 화장품 관련 분야 등에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
