In one aspect, a catheter securement device comprises a body portion having an upper surface and a lower surface, the body portion having a pocket that comprises a substantially tubular channel, the channel being open at the upper surface, the pocket further including a port cavity in communication with the channel. The securement device further comprises a strap portion movable between a fully closed position and a range of open positions. The strap portion at least partially covers the pocket when in a closed position thereby closing the channel at the upper surface.
