PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the rotation range of a probe body even under a simple control, and to prevent the probe body from growing in size.SOLUTION: A probe driving device 60 includes: an external cylinder 61 a rotating body 62 which is connected to the base end part of the probe body 40 so as to be disposed coaxially with the probe body 40, and is inserted into the external cylinder 61 so as to relatively move straight in the axial direction with respect to the external cylinder 61 and relatively rotate circumferentially with respect to the external cylinder 61 guide grooves 63 which are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body 62 engaging protrusions 71 which are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the external cylinder 61, and inserted into the guide grooves 63 and direct-drive portion 73 which directly moves the rotating body 62 in the axial direction. The guide grooves 63 are formed in a corrugated state so as to undulate in the circumferential direction.
