PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for introducing a fungus-infecting virus into a fungus which is easily applicable to "any" kind or strain of filamentous fungi (versatility is great) without restricting to a specific kind or strain of fungus.SOLUTION: The method for introducing a fungus-infecting virus into a fungus includes using a nematode which has a characteristic to bore the hypha of a filamentous fungus and to suck the sap and intake the cell content by a stylet. For details on the method for introducing a fungus-infecting virus into a fungus, the nematode simultaneously coexists with a filamentous fungus not infected with the fungus-infecting target virus to be introduced (the virus recipient strain) and with another filamentous fungus infected with the fungus-infecting target virus to be introduced (the virus donor strain), and the fungus-infecting virus is introduced through the stylet of the nematode to the virus recipient strain.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 特定の菌種や菌株の種類に制限されることなく、‘任意の’糸状菌類の菌種や菌株に容易に適用が可能である(極めて汎用性が高い)、菌類寄生ウイルスの導入方法を開発することを目的とする。【解決手段】 口針によって糸状菌類の菌糸に穿孔して細胞内容物を吸汁摂取する性質を有する線虫を用いることを特徴とする、糸状菌類への菌類寄生ウイルス導入方法を提供する。また、詳しくは、前記線虫と、導入対象の菌類寄生ウイルスが感染していない糸状菌類(ウイルス受容菌)及び導入対象の菌類寄生ウイルスが感染している糸状菌類(ウイルス供与菌)とを、同時に共存させることによって、前記菌類寄生ウイルスを、当該線虫の口針を介して前記ウイルス供与菌に感染させることを特徴とする、糸状菌類への菌類寄生ウイルス導入方法を提供する。【選択図】 図2
