Disclosed is an apparatus for sterilizing air, which generates and discharges hydroxyl radicals. The present apparatus comprises: a cartridge including a solution storage unit for storing a reaction solution which is gasified to reaction gas for generating hydroxyl radicals by reacting with ozone, and a membrane formed on one side of the solution storage unit and a cartridge storage unit formed to be attached to and detached from the cartridge, and arranged with an opening hole enabling the membrane formed on the cartridge to be exposed to the direction of a pipeline in which outside air penetrates. The cartridge is installed on the cartridge storage unit enabling the membrane to be arranged on the bottom surface.
