The present invention provides a retraction device comprising, a shaft, a plurality of arms supported by the shaft, the arms being configured to be moveable between a first orientation in which the device assumes an insertion profile for passage of the device through a surgical incision, and a second orientation in which the device assumes a retraction profile.
