The present invention relates to an apparatus for ocular treatment in which a method for irradiating therapeutic beam is improved to irradiate therapeutic beam along the curvature of ocular therapeutic area for the ocular therapeutic area having curvature and to a method for irradiating therapeutic beam thereof. The apparatus for ocular treatment comprises: a beam generation unit which generates therapeutic beam； a beam delivery unit which guides therapuetic beam generated from the beam delivery unit to a retinal area； an image unit which generates images of the retinal area in horizontal direction from plane of a focal spot of the therapeutic beam which is guided by the beam delivery unit； and a control unit which controls the beam delivery unit in order to adjust plane location of the focal spot based on the curvature of the retinal area recorded by the image unit. Therefore, the apparatus for ocular treatment irradiates locations corresponded to the ocular curvature with therapeutic beam by measuring and analyzing the curvature according to ocular images and adjusts plane of the focal spot on which therapeutic beam is irradiated along the ocular curvature and enhances efficiency of ocular treatment.본 발명은 곡률을 갖는 안구의 치료 영역에 대해 곡률을 따라 치료용 빔이 조사될 수 있도록 치료용 빔의 조사 방법을 개선한 안과용 치료장치 및 이의 치료용 빔 조사방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 안과용 치료장치는 치료용 빔을 생성하는 빔 생성부와, 빔 생성부로부터 생성된 치료용 빔을 안구의 망막 영역으로 인도하는 빔 딜리버리부와, 빔 딜리버리부에 의해 인도되는 치료용 빔의 포칼 스팟(focal spot)의 평면에 대해 가로 방향으로 안구의 망막 영역의 이미지를 생성하는 이미지유닛과, 이미지유닛에 의해 촬영된 안구의 망막 영역의 곡률에 기초하여 포칼 스팟의 평면 위치가 조절되도록 빔 딜리버리부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의하여, 안구의 이미지에 따른 곡률을 측정 및 분석하여 안구의 곡률에 따라 치료용 빔이 조사되는 포칼 스팟의 평면을 조절하여 안구의 곡률에 대응된 위치에 치료용 빔을 조사할 수 있고, 이에 따라 안구의 치료 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
