PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exterminate water weeds in a narrow width place.SOLUTION: A water weed extermination device 1 includes an extermination fork composed of a fork 5 and a main pipe 4. The fork 5 is composed of a plurality of individual forks 5B to which a claw plate 5B3 is fitted, and is rotatable around the central axis of the main pipe 4. When exterminating water weeds, the water weed extermination device 1 is caused to be oriented to a direction perpendicular to the direction of the inclination of the slope in the water first, and then the fork 5 is caused to rotate for the main pipe 4 until the lower side of the claw plate 5B3 becomes parallel to the slope, causing the lower side of the claw plate 5B3 to be parallel to the slope.
