PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend part of an endoscope capable of enhancing insertion performance by shortening a total length of the bend part to the minimum necessary when maximum curvature angles of the bend part in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction are different, while durability can be improved by reducing abrasion of operating wires.

SOLUTION: As joint rings, three-dimensionally moving joint rings 203 and two-dimensionally moving joint rings 202 are provided in a mixed state. Out of a plurality of operating wires 6U, 6D, 6R and 6L, a wire guide hole 72 guides an operating wire 6U for bending a bend tube 20 toward the bending direction of the two-dimensionally moving joint ring 202. The wire guide hole on the two-dimensionally moving joint ring 202 is formed in such a way that its diameter is broadened toward a periphery side of the bend tube 20 compared with that of a wire guide hole 73 installed on the three-dimensionally moving joint ring 203.
