The method of claim 2, wherein the compression is applied at least 1 hour before bedtime. The method according to claim 2, in which compression is applied at least for at least 20 minutes. The method according to claim 2, wherein the compression is applied with a pneumatic compression device, a device that uses electrically activated materials, a device that uses mechanical drives that tighten the bands around the limbs, passive elastic clothing or anti-shock pants. The method according to claim 1, comprising raising the patient's legs above the patient's heart. The method according to claim 1, comprising summing the electrical stimulation to the patient. The method of claim 7, wherein the electrical stimulation is delivered by a transdermal electric neurostimulator.
