PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stably acquiring high-quality images without prolonging measurement time when the number of AD converters which an MRI apparatus includes is less than the number of coil elements constituting a receiving coil (multiple coils).
SOLUTION: A data base keeping image quality scores in accordance with all of the combinations of the coil elements for all of the imaging conditions is created at a shipment or the like once and is kept. In each examination, the most appropriate combination of the coil elements for synthesizing output signals is automatically determined by selecting out of the data base.
