PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier with a compact structure, capable of suppressing propagation of microbes in the water or the air by a sterilizing method without using electric power, in regard to a humidifier humidifying a room interior.
SOLUTION: By providing a composition having a sterilizing material 15 with conductive carbon material 19 and metal 20 dispersed in resin 18 in at least a portion contacting water and composing the humidifier 10, the energy saving humidifier with a compact structure, capable of suppressing propagation of microbes in the water 16 or a humidification structure 13 can be provided.
