In accordance with the invention, a method is described for the choice of surgical treatment for patients with coronary heart disease with moderate ischemic mitral regurgitation, which consists in the fact that the patient undergoes an echocardiographic study in the preoperative period, in which the severity of functional ischemic mitral regurgitation is quantified, confirm or reject severe systolic left ventricular myocardial dysfunction, and then evaluate the value according to speckle-tracking echocardiography and in a patient with severe systolic left ventricular myocardial dysfunction, a longitudinal longitudinal myocardial deformation index at rest is performed by stress echocardiography with dobutamine, then at a level of global longitudinal myocardial deformation at rest according to speckle-tracking echocardiography and less and with positive stress echocardiography, the patient is prescribed isolated myocardial revascularization or at the level of global longitudinal myocardial deformation at rest according to speckle -tracking echocardiography of more than 10.5% and in case of negative stress echocardiography, the patient is prescribed coronary artery bypass surgery in combination with mitral valve annuloplasty.
