A cosmetic agent for temporarily shaping keratinous fibres comprises a cosmetic preparation containing: at least one copolymer (a1) made up of at least the monomer units comprising (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester, and (meth)acrylic acid hydroxyalkyl ester; and at least one copolymer (a2) made up of at least the monomer units comprising N-tert-butylacrylamide, acrylic acid, and ethyl acrylate; with a weight proportion of the copolymers (a1) and (a2) based on the total weight of the cosmetic preparation of 10-30 wt.%. Preferably copolymer (a1) has the INCI name acrylates/hydroxyesters acrylates copolymer and copolymer (a2) has the INCI name acrylates/tert-butylacrylamide. Preferred compositions have good moisture resistance and the weight ratio of copolymer a1) to copolymer a2) is 1:3 to 3:1. The copolymer a2) is preferably used in neutralised or partially neutralised form with at least one alkanolamine (e.g. 2-amino-2-methylpropanol) preferably being used to achieve this. Ethanol and water preferably make up the A hairspray composition with 30-70% by weight of the cosmetic preparation and 30-70% by weight propellant is also outlined.
