PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agriculture monitoring camera having a crop growth state detection function capable of taking color images by using inexpensive a bandpass filter.SOLUTION: The agriculture monitoring camera includes: a 550 nm bandpass filter an 850 nm bandpass filter an infra-red cut filter a transparent filter a filter changeover mechanism for changing over the 550 nm bandpass filter, the 850 nm bandpass filter, the infra-red cut filter and the transparent filter and an imaging unit for taking images. Ordinarily, color images are taken using the infra-red cut filter.
