PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical turning angle-adjusting joint capable of adjusting the vertical turning angle of a bush cutter head device having a rotary blade to a thill by only connecting it to a bush cutter available in a market, and a bush cutter capable of adjusting the vertical turning angle of the bush cutter head device having the rotary blade.SOLUTION: This vertical turning angle-adjusting joint 10 is provided by connecting the font part of a rear side case 11 to be inserted with the front end of the thill 2 with the rear part of a front side case 20 connected with the rear end of the bush cutter head device 50 as freely and vertically turnable. The vertical turning angle is maintained by the engagement of leaf springs 40L, 40R with metal balls 43, 43. The front end of an input shaft 12 pivoted within the rear side case 11 and the rear end of an output shaft 23 pivoted within the front side case 20 are connected by a coil spring 30 having gaps among wound wires.
