PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood flow imaging apparatus capable of generating a more accurate blood flow image.SOLUTION: A blood flow imaging apparatus 100 is provided with a coherent light source 2, an irradiation optical system 10, a two-dimensional image sensor 30, and a control part 40. The irradiation optical system 10 irradiates a measuring light emitted by the coherent light source 2 to an area to be examined of a biological tissue. The control part 40 generates a blood flow image showing a two-dimensional distribution of blood stream speed in the area to be examined from a temporal change of an output signal of each corresponding pixel of a plurality of images continuously photographed by the two-dimensional image sensor 30.
