A seeding apparatus comprises a furrow opener assembly with a furrow openerthatcreates a furrow. A singulating meter dispenses seeds into a seed tubeconfigured at aseed output end to discharge the seeds into the furrow. A pressurized airsource conveysseeds through the seed tube. The seed tube is oriented to discharge the seedsalong a seedtrajectory oriented in a downward and rearward direction, and a seed catchingmembermoves along a bottom of the furrow and contacts the seeds at the same time asthe seedscontact the bottom of the furrow. The seed tube and the seed catching memberaremounted in fixed relative positions to a follower bracket that is pivotallyattached to thefurrow opener assembly about a bracket pivot axis. A vertical location of thebracketpivot axis with respect to the furrow opener is adjustable.
