Versatile Self Illumination The dental mirror consists of three detachable assemblies. The first assembly includes a head and a shank. The head has a front mirror surface and a rear transparent surface comprising at least one rear-facing light source. The shank is connected to the head at an angle and has one or more forward-facing light sources extending from the shank at the connection of the shank and the head. The light source of the first assembly is used to provide illumination to the front mirror surface of the first assembly. The second assembly includes a handle surrounding one or more batteries used to power the light source of the first assembly. The third assembly includes a laser pointer and a housing for a pen or stylus.
