If the medicine is incorrect, the medicine dispensing device 100 displays a message on a display 320 indicating that the medicine is incorrect. If the medicine is correct, a camera 340 films video of the medicine replenishment operation performed by the user. Furthermore, once the medicine replenishment has been completed, the camera 340 photographs the medicine inside the container 210. Next, the display 320 displays the image of the photographed medicine, and an image of the correct medicine for replenishing the container 210. The user then views these images, and confirms whether or not the medicine used to replenish the container 210 was correct, and if this confirmation has not been completed, the medicine dispensing device 100 will not dispense medicine from the container 210.
