The present invention relates to a preparation method for herbal incense, comprising the steps of: dissolving Borneo camphor； separately pulverising leaves, roots and flowers of Boswellia thurifera, Agastache Herba, Dalbergia latifolia and Santalum album to prepare powders thereof； mixing equal amounts of the Borneo camphor, Boswellia thurifera, and powders of Agastache Herba, Dalbergia latifolia, Santalum album and adding thereto 1-5% of benzoin based on the total weight thereof； mixing all of the herbal ingredients above and steaming the powders of Agastache Herba, Dalbergia latifolia, Santalum album, and mixing therewith, powder of palm tree in 5-10% of the total weight of the mixture to produce a dough； and injecting the dough into a molding device to extrude or apply pressure to mold articles. The present invention is made mainly from herbal medicine ingredients, and therefore provides not only a natural herbal scent but also health benefits due to the medicinal ingredients contained therein, and also does not generate carcinogenic materials when burned. Therefore, the present invention can be suitably used in oriental medicine clinics and living quarters.본 발명은 한방선향의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서,한방성 향을 제조하기 위하여； 용뇌를 용해하는 준비하는 단계, 유향, 곽향, 자단, 백단은 잎, 뿌리, 꽃 등을 분쇄하여 분말 형태로서 준비하는 단계 상기 용뇌, 유황, 곽향분말, 자단분말, 백단분말을 동등 중량으로 배합하고 여기에 전체중량의 1 ~ 5 % 의 안식향을 첨가하는 단계, 상기 전체 한방성분을 혼합하고 상기 곽향분말, 자단분말, 백단분말을 100증숙시키고, 야자수분말을 전체 혼합중량의 5 ~ 20 % 중 한약재 채취시기에 따라 선택되는 중량비율로 혼합하여 교반하여 반죽을 얻는 단계, 상기 반죽을 성형기에 투입하여 압출 또는 가압성형의 방법으로 성형하는 단계；를 적어도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하여 한방약재를 주로 하여 만들어지므로 천연성 한방향을 얻게 되어 다양한 용도로서 사용할 수 있게 되고 약재의 약리성분에 의하여 건강에도 극히 유익한 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 또한 천연성 약재를 기본적인 소재로서 사용함으로써 향을 태울 시에 발암성 물질을 배제하게 하여 한방의원 등의 업소에서의 사용이나 일상 생활에서 방향을 얻을 수 있게 하여 생활의 질을 제고할 수 있는 유용성을 가진다. 나아가 한방 약재의 다양한 약리효과를 얻을 수 있어 각종 성인병의 치료에도 널리 사용될 수 있다.
