PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve getting-on/off performance and work efficiency by making a simple modification on a reserve seedling placing structure.SOLUTION: The reserve seedling placing structure of a sulky rice transplanter is constituted by: connecting a seedling planting apparatus to the rear part of a traveling vehicle body through a link mechanism providing a reserve seedling placing apparatus 44 on the lateral vehicle body outside to each of right and left getting-on/off steps that permit getting on/off from the front end of the traveling vehicle body and constituting the reserve seedling placing apparatus 44 to be switchable into a folded state in which a plurality of reserve seedling bases 55 are vertically folded and piled and into a deployed state in which the plurality of reserve seedling bases 55 are longitudinally arranged on a straight line.
