The α and β polymer units form micelles that have a radial arrangement wherein the cationic polymer chain segments are on the inside and the hydrophilic polymer chain segments are on the outside. The drug is contained inside the micelles. A side chain of the cationic polymer chain segment of the α polymer unit has a phenylboronic acid group, and a side chain of the cationic polymer chain segment of the β polymer unit has a phenylboronic acid-binding site.
