Disclosed herein are tibial baseplates (200) having a medial portion (210) and a lateral portion (212), each of the medial and lateral portions having a proximal surface (210a, 212a) and a distal surface (210b, 212b) opposite the proximal surface. An intermediate portion (214) joins the medial and lateral portions, wherein the intermediate portion has a proximal surface (214a) angled to the proximal surfaces of the medial and lateral portions about a longitudinal axis (L1) of the tibial baseplate. The proximal surface of the medial portion is stepped from the proximal surface of the lateral portion about the longitudinal axis. The proximal surfaces of the medial and lateral portions are configured to receive corresponding medial (418) and lateral (420) inserts.
