improvement in external fixators for osteosynthesis belonging to the sector orthopaedic devices for non-surgical bone treatment or articulation, devices to be placed next to bones to be positioned, refers to a device for the treatment of reconstructions with loss of bone tissue in the lower and upper limbs due to fractures, particularly in the exposed ones, accident-induced infections or for correction of congenital or acquired osteoarticular deformities, revealing improvement applied to the semi-rings of the fixers, resulting in significant improvement in the functionality of the appliance,both in the form of fixation of the semi-rings and their resistance to release, and by the resizing of their furation as to the breaking. the external fixators are indicated for bone fixations and are placed externally through the skin, stabilizing the fragments through joint use with implantable wires or pins connected to rings and semi-rings, which in turn are connected to one or more threaded bars, longitudinal tubes, arches, plates etc.,according to the particularity of each pathology. the external circular fixers are designed to support partial axial load, provided that there is a condition for this, according to the case-by-case medical assessment. the partial load may be accepted in situations where the fracture and the proposed treatment so permits, depending on the clinical situation, local bone conditions and soft parts, and also on the general conditions of the patient, where the expected biological response may lead to the failure of the material, with breaks and releases. in cases where there is instability due to bone failure, by commissioning or bone loss,autologous bone graft treatment may be indicated, and neurological diseases may bring changes in bone resistance, or neuromuscular activity may overwhelm the fixer. disproportionately large or heavy patients can lead to faults or early breaks of the material. Osteoporosis can lead to release of fastening material.
