PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling-feeder for a sweet potato seedling-planting machine improved in its configuration in such a way that a time-consuming job of setting seedlings in a seedling-feeding mechanism can be done by two persons. SOLUTION: A seedling-mounting part of this seedling-feeder features being formed as follows: two belts 17 each for feeding seedlings are arranged on both sides of a seedling-planting nail 12 and are each turned around toward the central part of a machine 4; many clips 18 each for gripping at least one seedling are fixed at an equal interval along one side margin on each belt 17; and a flexible partition lug 19 is made to stand in front of every clip 18 in terms of the direction of its rotation. The seedling-feeder also features that each clip 18 has a gripping groove 20 opening toward the direction of rotation of each belt 17, the bottom of the groove 20 is located on the outer side from the belt 17 and the clips 18 of the right and left belts 17 alternately pass in front of the nail 12 as the belts 17 are turned around.
