Disclosed delivery catheters have a three-dimensional curvature that facilitates reaching the RAA from the inferior vena cava, positioning the distal end of the catheter generally parallel to the plane of the pericardial space at the puncture location within the RAA, orienting the puncturing device in a direction that avoids the right coronary artery, aorta, pulmonary artery, and other structures to prevent bystander injury to such structures, and provides sufficient rigidity to puncture through a wall of the RAA into the pericardial space.Linvention se rapporte à des cathéters de distribution ayant une courbure en trois dimensions qui facilite laccès à lappendice auriculaire droit (RAA) à partir de la veine cave inférieure, le positionnement de lextrémité distale du cathéter généralement parallèle au plan de lespace péricardique au niveau de lemplacement de ponction à lintérieur du RAA, lorientation du dispositif de ponction dans une direction qui évite lartère coronaire droite, laorte, lartère pulmonaire, et dautres structures afin dempêcher une lésion de voisinage sur de telles structures, et qui fournit une rigidité suffisante pour ponctionner à travers une paroi du RAA dans lespace péricardique.
