Disclosed are synergistic herbicidal compositions containing (a) penoxsulam and (b) oryzalin, which are intended to provide improved post-emergence herbicidal weed control in tree and vine crops, turf, sugar cane, range and pasture, parks and alleyways. Also disclosed are methods for the application of the compositions to control undesirable vegetation.
