Described is a sustainable aquaponics system which is mainly integrated by two tanks with a tubular structure that form an oxygenation system, a sludge collecting system and a NFT system, and a hydroponics growth layer, where the oxygenation system consists of at least a couple of PVC tubes, which have orifices located at the upper and lower portion thereof, a PVC tube being installed/fixed at an angle of 90° so as to provide an outlet to the secondary tank in order to regulate the flow by means of a valve, the sludge collecting system being located in the main tank and consisting of at least four PVC tubes. The hydroponics growth bed is formed by a wood sheet located in a metallic structure above the tanks a space is left between the tanks and the bed.
