Provided is a vibration presentation device 1100 comprising a transmission member 1101 and a control device 1130, wherein the transmission member 1101 is configured such that a side part is brought into contact with a portion of the periphery of an object to which vibration is to be presented or is wound around the periphery thereof, and a prescribed tension is applied to the transmission member 1101, the prescribed tension being varied on the basis of a drive signal based on a vibration presentation signal, whereby vibration is transmitted via the transmission member 1101 to the object to which vibration is to be presented.
