PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for planting seedlings needing no specific skill or heavy labor for works of taking out seedlings from a growth frame, winding roots and fixing the seedlings by water, preventing damages to the roots, efficiently planting, and favorably growing the seedlings. SOLUTION: This method for planting seedlings comprises the following process: installing a planting hole-digging rod 51 in a hydraulic brake 5; digging a planting hole H on the planting ground G using a digging machine installed in a hydraulic excavator 4; and inserting a deep flowerpot seedling 2 into the planting hole H.
