Single doses of immediate release of ghb or of one of its therapeutically acceptable salts administered by oral route and their use for maintaining abstinence alcoholic
The present invention relates to the unit doses of immediate release of ghb or of one of its therapeutically acceptable salts administered by oral use. These unit doses contain 0,32 and 1,9 g of ghb, in particular in the form of sodium oxybate, when they are present in the oral form, and more particularly in the form of granules, the latter contain, besides the active substance (50à 60%), an effervescent agent (5 to 15%), a diluent (2 to 18%), a binder (3 to 10%), a support acting as a solid core of the granules (15 to 25%) and a coating agent / flavouring agent / sweetening agent / lubricant (3 to 6%). Application to the maintenance of abstinence alcoholic slightly or moderately in subjects suffering from alcoholism, or else in subjects suffering from alcoholism high or very greatly, depending on whether or not they have hepatic impairment.
