<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiallergic agent exhibiting high safety, usable for a food and drink without sense of incompatibility, capable of preventing/treating diseases such as allergic rhinitis, and having activities for suppressing the separation of β-hexosaminidase. <;P>;SOLUTION: The antiallergic agent contains an extract of coffee raw beans obtained by the treatment with a supercritical fluid of carbon dioxide as an active ingredient, and has the antiallergic activities of the activities for suppressing the separation of the β-hexosaminidase caused by materials except phenylpropanoids exemplified by caffeine and chlorogenic acid contained in the coffee raw beans and conventionally considered as the substance of antiallergic active substance. The extract of the coffee raw beans is free from the caffeine, and has the antiallergic activities of 1.5 times or above that of a simple aqueous solution of the caffeine having the content corresponding to the caffeine content in the extract of the coffee raw beans obtained by the extraction by a conventional method not using the supercritical fluid treatment with the carbon dioxide. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
