The invention relates to a packaging (1) for a condom provided with a main compartment (6) for housing a condom (2) and an additional compartment (7) which is separate from the main compartment (6) and has a disposal element (10) that allows the condom (2) to be disposed of following the use thereof in an environmentally friendly manner. The invention relates to a packaging (1) with built in components which is easy to handle for the user and does not excessively increase the production costs in comparison with a standard commercial individual packaging. The invention further relates to a method for disposing of the condom (2) following the use thereof by means of the correct use of the described packaging (1).
