The present invention proposes a method and system which allows locating and notifying about attacks on animals. The system consists of two types of devices that will be implanted in the animal to be monitored. On one hand, it consists of a device (member device 11) that will be introduced in the part of the animal removal of which is to be controlled (rhinoceros horn or elephant tusk, for example), and on the other hand it consists of a device (12) implanted in the animals body which controls the member device (and therefore the member itself as well) and sends an alarm to a central unit if it detects a dangerous situation and obtains and sends the location of the animal at that time.
