PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ascites treatment system which can unerringly treat a prescribed quantity of ascites in a short time by restraining blocking in a thickener while keeping the recovery rate of ascitic useful substances.
SOLUTION: The ascites treatment system, having a storage vessel storing the ascites, a filter selectively removing specific substances in the ascites supplied from the storage vessel, the thickener thickening by filtering the filtered ascites filtered in the filter, and a waste liquid suction apparatus sucking a waste liquid from the waste liquid port of the thickener, and a recovery vessel recovering the thickened ascites enriched in the thickener from a recovery port downstream from the waste liquid port, is provided with a negative pressure generator connected to the recovery port of the thickener and generating negative pressure at least on the side downstream from the waste liquid port.
