PURPOSE: A dental implant is provided to reduce the burdens of side effects, pain, and high cost induced by autogenous bone harvesting when the vertical height of an alveolar bone is not sufficient.CONSTITUTION: A dental implant comprises a fixing part in the form of a screw with a length of 3 to 5 mm to be fixed to an alveolar bone and a cylindrical part for penetrating gingiva without a screw. The dental implant has a total length above 6 mm including the cylindrical part for penetrating gingival without a screw.
