PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug to be used in a system that the drug is concentrated on a necessary site with the use of magnetic force, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: Magnetic fine particles are dispersed into a chemical adsorption fluid prepared by mixing an alkoxysilane compound containing an epoxy group, a silanol condensation catalyst, and a nonaqueous organic solvent to react the alkoxysilane compound with the surfaces of the magnetic fine particles, and the surfaces of the magnetic fine particles are washed with an organic solvent and excess alkoxysilane compound is removed to form a monomolecular film containing an epoxy group covalently bonded to the surfaces of the magnetic fine particles, and a drug containing an imino group within the substance such as a protein, an amino acid, an enzyme, an antibody, an antibiotic substance, an antibacterial substance, and a contrast medium is reacted and immobilized on the surfaces of the magnetic fine particles to manufacture a drug for DDS in which the drug substance is bonded and immobilized on to the surfaces of the magnetic fine particles through the covalently bonded monomolecular film.
