PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method for a foundation work inducing material enabling the easy positioning and reclamation of a base for growth with any reclamation shape and uneven reclamation thickness when the uneven base for growth is reclaimed on a surface to which seeding and planting are applied.SOLUTION: This foundation work inducing material 21 is used, as an auxiliary material, in a greening method for reclaiming the uneven base 2 for growth on the surface 1 to which greening is applied such as slopes. The foundation work inducing material is formed of a profile forming member 22 at least forming the profile of the cross sectional shape of the uneven base 2 for growth reclaimed on the surface 1 to which greening is applied. In the method for the greening, a uneven base 2 for growth is reclaimed on the surface 1 to which greening is applied.
