PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet resonance imaging apparatus which can prevent image deterioration caused by phase gap of echo signals.SOLUTION: A magnet resonance imaging apparatus includes an execution part, a calculation part, and a correction part. The execution part executes pre-scanning for impressing a gradient magnet field for read out and a gradient magnet field in a slice direction like a pulse sequence for main scanning. The calculation part calculates a phase correction amount for correcting a phase difference in a plurality of echo signals collected in the main scanning by using data confined within a prescribed range in a plurality of echo signals collected in the pre-scanning. The correction part corrects the pulse sequence for the main scanning on the basis of the correction amount calculated by the calculation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
