PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester improved with the efficiency of discharging operation by preventing the plugging or compression of cereal grains in the elongation and contraction of a discharging auger.SOLUTION: This combine harvester is equipped with the discharging auger 8 consisting of a vertically installed auger 4 and a horizontally installed auger 5 including a cereal grain-discharging port 9. The horizontally installed auger 5 is equipped with a base part side tube 6 which is linked with the vertically installed auger 4 and has a conveying screw 14 and a screw shaft 11 installed, a tip end side tube 7 which freely elongates and contracts toward the base part side tube 6 and has an elongation and contraction screw 15, a screw shaft 16 and a discharging port 9 installed, and an elongation and contraction-driving device 23 of the tip end side tube 7. The harvester also includes the first driving source 55 of the screw shaft 11 of the base part side tube 6, a one-way crutch 60 which is installed between the screw shaft 11 of the base part side tube 6 and the screw shaft 16 of the tip end side tube 7, and transmits the power of the first driving source 55 from the screw shaft 11 to the screw shaft 16, and a second driving source 62 independently driving the screw shaft 16 of the tip end side tube 7.
