PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracheal tube with which safety can be increased.SOLUTION: Provided is a tracheal tube 1, comprising: a tube body 2 and a cuff 3 which is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the tube body 2, and of which barrel 16 is contractible and expandable. The barrel 16, when expanded, includes: a tapered part 16 of which diameter with a center axis line O1 of the tube body 2 as the center increases from a distal end 5 side toward a proximal end 6 side of the tube body 2 connections 14a and 14b for connecting the cuff 3 to the tube body 2 and a proximal end side coupling part 15b for coupling the proximal end side connection 14b locating in the proximal end 6 side of the tube body 2, among the tapered part, and connections 14a, 14b.
