PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, when being worn, prevented from getting bulky, and being unlikely to provide a user with stuffy feeling and to cause lateral leakage.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 4, and an absorber 3 disposed between the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 4. The absorbent article further includes: a central part 5 that is attached inside of underwear from the front part to the rear part and has a substantially triangular shape narrowing towards the rear side, extending in the longitudinal direction a pair of end portions 6 that are provided at the left/right of the central part 5 and come into contact with the insides of the femoral areas of a user a pair of first inward recessed portions 81 provided in the front side at connection parts L between the central part 5 and the pair of end parts 6 and a second inward recessed portion 82 provided in the rear side at the connection parts L between the central part 5 and the pair of end parts 6. The rear parts of the pair of end parts 6 and the second recessed portion 82 are smoothly connected.
