PURPOSE: A loxoprofen release-controlled formulation is provided to quickly release a drug at an early stage and to continuously maintain the concentration of the drug in blood, thereby enabling one-time administration a day and improving administration convenience and drug compliance. CONSTITUTION: A loxoprofen release-controlled formulation contains: a sustained release layer containing loxoprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a sustained release base, and a carboxy vinyl polymer and an immediate release layer containing loxoprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A method for manufacturing the release-controlled formulation of a double layer or multilayer type comprises the steps of: preparing sustained release granules containing loxoprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, the sustained release base, and the carboxy vinyl polymer preparing immediate release granules containing loxoprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and making the formulation using the sustained release granules and the immediate release granules.
