The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling a vehicle by using driver′s bio-signal and in-vehicle information. The system includes: a bio-information measuring device worn on a body of a driver to measure and output pulse of the driver and acceleration a vehicular information collecting device provided in the vehicle to collect driving-related data of the vehicle and a control unit configured to determine the driver′s cardiac arrest or drowsiness based on signals outputted from the bio-information measuring device and the vehicular information collecting device, park or stop the vehicle on a shoulder road by switching the vehicle into an autonomous driving mode during cardiac arrest or drowsy driving, and transmit an emergency rescue request signal by using GPS information of the vehicle in the situation requiring emergency relief, thereby preventing an accident caused by driver′s biological abnormality, and facilitating an emergency rescue.본 발명은 자동차 운전자 생체신호와 자동차 정보를 이용한 자동차 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 운전자의 신체에 착용되어 운전자의 맥박과 가속도를 측정하고 출력하는 생체 정보 측정기, 자동차에 구비되어 자동차의 주행 관련 데이터를 수집하는 자동차용 정보 수집기, 상기 생체 정보 측정기와 자동차용 정보 수집기로부터 출력되는 신호를 기준으로 하여 운전자의 심정지 또는 졸음상태를 판단하고, 그에 따라 심정지 또는 졸음 운전시 자동차를 자동 주행 모드로 변경하여 갓길로 주차 또는 정차하고 긴급구호조치가 필요한 상황에서는 자동차의 GPS정보를 이용하여 긴급 구조 요청 신호를 전송하는 제어부를 포함하여 구성되는 자동차 운전자 생체신호와 자동차 정보를 이용한 자동차 제어 장치 및 방법으로, 운전자 생체 이상으로 인한 안전 사고를 방지하면서 긴급 구조가 가능하도록 한 것이다.
