PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a compounding medium for mushroom cultivation in which moisture and a water-soluble material can be uniformly diffused into a medium substrate and a solid nutrient by using a highly water absorbing polymer, and a waste medium can be configured so as to be appropriately regenerated.SOLUTION: In the method for producing the compounding medium for mushroom cultivation obtained by mixing water and raw materials of the medium substrate and the nutrient with a mixer, a gel-like mixture which is obtained by mixing the water-soluble material containing at least saccharides and the highly water absorbing polymer into water, is poured in the mixer previously containing the medium substrate and the solid nutrient, and the culture medium and the solid nutrient are mixed with the gel-like mixture.
