PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver production machine in which the reduction in the commercial value resulting from the residual washing chemical solution in the laver drainboard, is prevented.SOLUTION: Provided is a laver production machine 1 provided with a paper making unit 5, a dewatering unit 6, a drying unit 7, a peeling unit 8, and a laver drainboard washing unit 9 on a transportation path for transporting a laver drainboard by a transportation unit 4, in which the laver drainboard washing unit 9 is so constituted as to carry out the washing of the laver drainboard using the washing water produced by electrolyzing water by an electrolysis unit, and in particular, the laver drainboard washing unit 9 washes laver drainboard using a washing chemical solution containing chlorine, followed by washing the laver drainboard using an alkaline washing water produced by decomposing water by the electrolysis unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
