Disclosed here in a composition comprising at least the following components: a) one or more pharmaceutically and/or nutritionally acceptable selenium compounds, wherein the concentration of one or more selenium compounds ranges from 15 to 20 ppm； b) one or more prebiotics, wherein the concentration of one or more prebiotics ranges from 98.0wt% to 99.5wt%； c) one or more phosphatides or salts thereof； and d) one or more flavonols and/or flavonoids, wherein the concentration of one or more flavonols and/or flavonoids ranges from 0.15wt% to 0.20wt%, for use in the treatment of intestinal disorders, wherein two or more of the components act synergistically.
